Bloomberg L.P. is a financial software and multimedia company headquartered in New York City. Founded in 1981 by former mayor Michael Bloomberg, Bloomberg L.P. boasts a wide range of media outlets including a wire service, television network, radio station and several print magazines and websites.

Bloomberg L.P. acquired 10 floors at 120 Park Avenue. The gut renovations took place is an eight phase process encompassing 23 floors, allowing Bloomberg L.P. to inhabit one floor at a time while work continued. Each floor underwent an interior demolition to make way for construction. The renovation necessitated new infrastructure complete with a cooling tower and battery room. Outsource Consultants collaborated on the project by providing code consultation, filing multiple applications and pulling all permits. Outsource was also able to secure a compliance solution for the building’s unique seven-floor open stair.
