NYU’s Kimmel Pavilion is an elite 800,000 square foot medical facility built alongside the Tisch Hospital. The Kimmel Pavilion houses 374 inpatient rooms as well as the new Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital. The building was designed with state of the art sustainability technology including maximum daylight distribution, water conservation and a rooftop garden.

The original plans for the Kimmel Pavilion included a hi-tech, fully operational in-house parking facility that required OTCR approval. The Kimmel Pavilion required Outsource to secure multi agency approvals and permits including DOB, DEP, DOT, FDNY and OER. Outsource also provided code consultation throughout the development stages of the project and successfully resolved 13 reconsiderations.
