The existing structure, a mid-block building, was a difficult demolition. Outsource facilitated a tax lot merger for the new hotel. Buildings in the Special Midtown District are required to have street walls at the street line. This required more FAR, as the street walls must be taller. Outsource consulted on all building code related issues related to the hotel, submitting multiple amendments. Outsource also secured several job applications including new building, alteration 2 and alteration 3 along with pulling all corresponding permits.
